Omar joined the business in 2018 and has 19 years of relevant experience. Omar leads the Equity business and focuses on transactions origination, execution and asset management. He is a director on the boards of companies relating to Ventus Investments and, previously, on the boards of companies relating to Phoenix Energy. He is Chair of the Equity Investment Committee.
Prior to joining the firm, Omar was an Executive Director at Morgan Stanley Infrastructure Partners, working on “core plus” European transactions and, previously, he worked in the Investment Banking Division at Morgan Stanley covering Benelux clients. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the London School of Economics and a Master of Science in Economics and Business from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
