Christian joined Capital Four in 2026 after completing a PhD in Financial Economics at Copenhagen Business School and is an Associate in the Quantitative Portfolio Research team.

His doctoral research focused on empirical asset pricing in corporate bond markets. His work on corporate bond factors received the Best Paper Award at the Utah Winter Finance Conference.

As part of his PhD, Christian spent a full year as a visiting scholar at Harvard Business School.
