Jim Wiant Joins Capital Four as Partner to Spearhead US Efforts

Capital Four, a leading independent credit asset management boutique, has named Jim Wiant as Partner to establish and lead the US efforts for the firm. Jim will join Capital Four as CEO of Capital Four US and portfolio manager.

Commenting on Mr. Wiant’s appointment, Sandro Näf, Capital Four’s CEO and co-founder, said: “We are very excited about this strategic initiative. In Jim, we have found a highly respected business leader and accomplished investor with clearly aligned views on investment philosophy and corporate culture. Our investors will benefit from the broader insights across credit markets and a deeper local expertise.”

Mr. Wiant is a senior credit investor with 22 years of experience. For the past 12 years, he has built an impressive track record and well-scaled credit business as a senior member of MidOcean Credit Partners. Previously, he worked at Deerfield Capital Management and Golub Capital as a credit investor. He began his career in M&A and corporate strategy for Deutsche Bank and Salomon Smith Barney. Jim graduated from Georgetown School of Business in 1996 and holds an MBA from The Wharton School.
