CBS Capital Four Credit Day 2025 - Summary
Together with the Center for Big Data in Finance (BIGFI) at Copenhagen Business School (CBS), Capital Four had the pleasure of welcoming an audience of 200+ for the fourth, annual Credit Day. The program aimed at providing a day full of insights across Credit. The speakers and audience spanned world-class academics, sophisticated investors, and leading practitioners.
The day was opened by Lasse Heje Pedersen, Center Director at BIGFI and Professor at CBS, and Sandro Näf CEO and Co-founder of Capital Four, who welcomed participants to a packed agenda covering current developments and structural trends in the credit space.
Topics throughout the day included the implications of weak credit covenants, managing sudden stop risk in corporate credit markets, and the concept of a financial premium. Discussions also explored convergence in macro credit arbitrage, the role of securitisation reform in enhancing European competitiveness, and the growing overlap between credit and insurance markets. Two engaging panel sessions brought together institutional investors and insurance leaders to discuss the integration of private capital markets and strategies for navigating alternative credit in a changing macro environment.
The day concluded with a highlight: Lars Rohde, former Governor of the Danish Central Bank, joined Sandro Näf for an in-depth conversation reflecting on his career, leadership, and the shifting dynamics of the financial sector.
We extend our sincere thanks to all speakers and participants for their contributions, and a special thank you to David Lando for organizing and hosting us at CBS. We look forward to seeing you again at Credit Day on Wednesday, 20 May 2026.
